Austen Gage (Director, Community Engagement – Membership | agage@wef.org): Manages the WEF membership team and oversees membership recruitment and retention programs, oversees membership data and programs, develops and directs member communications, researches and analyzes membership data, and supervises the WEF Customer Support Center team. Austen also manages the Membership Community.
Brittne Burns (Manager, Community Engagement | bburns@wef.org): Manages the Municipal Water Resource Recovery Facility Design, Research and Innovation, Industrial Water, and Plant Operations and Maintenance Communities.
Jack Connors (Director, Community Engagement | jconnors@wef.org): Manages all aspects of WEFUnity, the online community platform for WEF members.
Jennifer Sabater, M.S., M.L.S. (ASCP)MB (Manager, Global Programs | ): Supports WEF’s global Member Associations and international partnerships, facilitating community engagement and cross-regional collaboration among WEF partners to advance the implementation of the strategic plan. Also manages the Government Affairs Community (GAC).
Kelsey Hurst (Director, Community Engagement – Associations | khurst@wef.org): Manages the House of Delegates, a portfolio of Member Associations, and the WEF Bylaws Committee. Facilitates in-person and virtual Strategic Planning with Member Associations upon request. Supervises WEF Manager overseeing the WEF Awards Program.
Lisa Deason, CVA (Senior Manager, Community Engagement | ldeason@wef.org): Manages the Stormwater, Collection Systems and Conveyance, Watershed Management, Intelligent Water Technology, and Safety, Cyber and Infrastructure Security Communities. Manages the National MS4 Awards Program and conducts the National MS4 Needs Assessment Survey, analysis and reporting. Collaborates with WEF Government Affairs on the planning and coordination of the annual National Stormwater Policy Forum.
Michelle Hektor (Manager, Organizational Membership Development | mhektor@wef.org): Provides support to Corporate, Exhibitor & Utility members by offering benefit analysis, managing member data, communicating new opportunities and cultivating relationships for long-term engagement.
Rebecca Culhane (Manager, Community Engagement | rculhane@wef.org): Manages the WEF Awards & Scholarships Program, Staff Manager to the Awards & Recognition Community and Public Communication and Outreach Community, and facilitates the Bedell, Hatfield, Burke, Lab Analyst, Quarter Century Operator Club, and Delegate Service Awards submitted annually by Member Associations (MA’s).
Trudi Bick (Manager, Community Engagement | tbick@wef.org): Manages the Lab Practices, Water Reuse, Utility Management, and Small Systems communities. Also manages the Utility of the Future Today Recognition Program. Participates in the Building Infrastructure Locally for Decentralized Water Systems (BILD) initiative.
Victoria Weitekamp (Senior Manager, Community Engagement | vweitekamp@wef.org): Manages the WEF Residuals and Biosolids Community (RBC) groups; Manages the WEF Emerging Contaminants Community (ECC) group; Manages the WEF Disinfection and Public Health Community (DPHC) group; and manages the WEF Air Quality and Odor Control Community (AQOC) group.
