YP Summit 2025
The WEF/AWWA Young Professionals (YP) Summit is the premier water and wastewater industry workshop for young professionals. Join other young leaders by exploring your role in water and discussing how you can best serve the water sector at large.
This is a skills development workshop that provides supplemental training and networking opportunities to emerging leaders and students in the water sector.
All students and young professionals in water-related roles are encouraged to join.
YP Summit 2025 will be held at the Hilton Anatole Dallas Hotel in Dallas, Texas on February 11.
Plan to be in Dallas from February 9 - 11 to join us for all the YP Summit related activities.

**Student nonmember: To qualify for the Student Non-Member rate, you must provide proof of enrollment in a minimum of six (6) credit hours at an accredited college or university and provide written documentation on school letterhead, verifying your student status.
This conference is jointly hosted by the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation.

Just north of downtown Dallas, the Hilton Anatole is a virtual city within a city. With 9 restaurants and bars, an entire Art Collection scattered throughout the property and a new resort pool, there is plenty to do inside and outside of the hotel. The Hilton Anatole is only 20 minutes from Dallas-Fort Worth International, and within 10 minutes of the bustling downtown scene.

YP Utility Scholarships
WEF is awarding five scholarships to young professionals working for a utility in North America. This Young Professional (YP) Utility Scholarship Program helps YPs learn about what being part of the WEF Utility Management Community (UMC) entails and increases YP involvement within this community. Applications for the 2025 Scholarship Program open September 20 and close on October 18. All scholarship details and deadlines are outlined in the application linked below, with full details about the AWWA and WEF scholarships featured here.

AWWA/WEF SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW GUIDE
AWWA Water Equation – Deadline: October 28, 2024
AWWA Water Equation is offering two scholarships:
Selection will be made by the AWWA YP utility sponsorship award selection committee and will be based on your short answers to questions below and submission of all requested answers and documents by October 28, 2024.
- Five (5) scholarships to young professionals employed by a water utility in North America.
- Three (3) scholarships to full-time collage/university students attending HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).
Scholarship winners will be notified by November 18, 2024. You do not need to be a member of AWWA to apply for the scholarship, but you must be employed by a water utility in Canada, Mexico, or the United States.
By applying for these scholarships, you understand that your registration, travel, and lodging expenses will be provided by AWWA Water Equation upon presentation of qualified receipts. Your attendance is required February 9-11, 2025 but you may extend your stay with your own funding to attend the Utility Management Conference. You also agree that we may use your photo likeness for marketing purposes.
