WEFMAX SCHEDULE
April 2 – MA Staff should plan to arrive by 2:30 pm to participate in a MA Staff meeting (2:30 – 4:00 pm). All other attendees should plan to arrive late afternoon (4:00 pm) to participate in the evening icebreaker.
April 3 - Begin Thursday (6:15 am for a fun walk/run if you choose). The WEFMAX meeting begins at 7:30 am for breakfast, the meeting begins at 8:00 am and adjourns around 5:00 pm. Breakfast and lunch provided. Thursday evening offers a social event hosted by OWEA. Guests are invited to both the Wednesday and Thursday socials. Guest payment can be made when you register for WEFMAX. Please note the registration system is only able to process for one guest. April 4 – Join your MA Leaders for a light breakfast served at 7:30 am. The WEFMAX meeting begins at 8:00 am and adjourns at 12:00 noon.

The Oklahoma WEA has blocked a limited number of hotel rooms at Skirvin Hilton Oklahoma City with a special standard guest room rate of $199 plus applicable taxes per night (Wednesday – Thursday) in effect at the time of check-in. Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly. Please reference “Oklahoma WEA Group Code: WEFMAX” when making your reservation in the room block.
Your reservation must be guaranteed with a major credit card. In order to avoid a cancellation fee of one-night room plus applicable tax for an individual reservation, the hotel must receive notification of cancellation. Please check your reservation for cancellation details. Credit identification will be required from each individual at check-in. The room rate will be charged to the individual’s account. All bed type requests (standard double or king size bed) will be honored on a space available basis. Rooms have been blocked from Wednesday, April 2 – 3. Check-In time is 3:00 pm | Check-Out time is 12:00 noon.
PARKING
Valet parking is offered at the current rate of $34 a day. Street side and public parking garages are adjacent to the hotel.
AIRPORT
Will Rogers Airport, Oklahoma City is the closest airport. The hotel is about 14 minutes from the Will Rogers airport. Rent a car, coordinate a ride share with other attendees or take an uber/lift/taxi/shuttle would be the best options.
